Fishing is awesome right now. We are fishing in Flows on the Lower O are around 125 cfs as of this report, which means you can wade most of the river to get into position for super productive nymphing techniques, or to cast that mayfly or caddis dry to pods of rising fish. Finding a lot of beautiful healthy rainbows in the mix with the wild browns this year. Hot Creek is great right now too, water bumps up a little on warmer days due to snow melt and there has been a really fun hatch midday - bwo’s in size 18 or so. Great water for a dry dropper setup. Upper O is having a good hatch in certain sections as well, and you can find a few big Rainbows if you look hard enough ( and rig deep enough).. Let’s fish!
