Great Fall vibes around the Mammoth Area right now. Got a little dusting of snow this past weekend, mountain looked ready to ski for a day or two. Since then it’s been beautiful sunny days in the 60’s with the colors of the aspens really starting to light up. Fishing has picked up all over the area, with fun dry fly fishing on Hot Creek in the morning and evening, some big rainbows and browns showing up in the the Upper Owens, and flows on the EW getting really wadeable / fishable for most anglers. This is my favorite time to fish / guide the eastern sierras. Set aside a few days and come take advantage!
