Runoff is really kicking in around the Mammoth area, so conditions can be variable day to day depending on temps and how much snowmelt comes through the systems. That said, the spring setting is gorgeous here, and we are finding places to catch fish. Hot Creek has been kicking out some beauties if you know where they hold at these flows. Nymphing and streamers are the ticket, and flashy bugs will get attention. After this weekend more water opens up to fishing, and there will be plenty to explore this June.
