Sometimes in January we are buried in snow and chipping ice off our guides to catch fish.. This year we are enjoying the sun and a few solid hatches. Nice fish are actively eating in our year round waters. Hot Creek has lots of wild fish eating baetis / midge imitations midday, Upper O has some huge fish that have moved up from the lake, as well as plenty of resident fish eating small dries on top. Lower O has been kicking out some bigger wild bows / browns, and weather down there has been amazing. We can show you how to tight line nymph and find the larger pickier fish here. Layer up under your waders, the water is chilly. Go ski early and then go enjoy some great fishing. We have guides available all winter, hit us up!
